Kim Niehans
Kim Niehans employs abstract and figurative painting techniques that engage imagery of the unconscious mind. Her subdued color palette and swift paint strokes construct soft dreamlike spaces that reveal figures camouflaged within atmospheric scenes. While in residence, Niehans produced a series of paintings and drawings that will explore themes of identity, power and memory.
Kim Niehans attended the Laguna College of Art & Design and received a BA in Studio Art at San Diego State University.
